i'm in LA for a couple shows and meetings, but I just wanted everyone to
know that Each every one, the 2nd track from "imitations"--your
favorite cd, was on the Real World this week. Sorry I didn't let you guys
know. I didn't know either. Someone called and told me they heard it so
I checked out and sho' nuff...it was.
Its the episode where the blonde girl is overly dramatic, the son of the
Commodores singer can't rap, and the gay guy plays the devil's advocate.
@#%$...my bad, i guess that's every episode.
I think its episode 22 from the Real World Paris. mechanicsville VA was
representin'..Jason Mraz's song was on there too. things is good and getting
better my friends.

and Billboard Magazine have just announced that Dean Fields will be 1 of
6 finalists to perform at 3rd and Lyndsley in Nashville TN on July 31st
for the Independent Music World Series, Southeast Region. This is really
exciting. Over 1200 bands and other music acts submitted from the Southeast.
Of the 6 finalists chosen, Dean is the only Singer Songwriter to make the
finals! The showcase will be judged by 12 judges from the music industry.

to his own show at the Fleet Center, multi-platinum singer songwriter David
Gray (Babylon, Please Forgive Me)stopped to check out Dean at a recent performance
in Boston. Gray waved to get Dean's attention and then flashed him a big
smile and a thumbs up. After the performance they talked for a while about
each's upcoming albums. Gray returns early 2003 for his US tour to promote
his follow-up to the widely successful "White Ladder." |
